Abstract
Crop diversity is more restricted to yield per acre or productivity of the standing crop alone. These could be broadened by including the income from crops by different means and from diverse sources, like industrial and business
applications of agriculture produce and residue. Scope of industrial application of agri-residues can be explored more efficiently by properly addressing the challenges. Industrial ecology based on agri-residues will boost the economy and increase the livelihood of farmers maintaining sustainable agriculture resources.
